At DQ Dance Academy, we offer a diverse range of dance styles for a variety of ages and abilities. Our dedicated teachers deliver engaging, structured classes designed to develop technique, encourage creativity and build confidence in every dancer.

Whether you are new to dance or looking to develop your skills further, our classes provide a supportive and inspiring environment where every dancer can grow, progress and enjoy their dance journey.

IDTA Syllabus Classes

Excel in accredited IDTA exams with training in Tap, Ballet, Theatre Craft, Contemporary Modern-Jazz, and more. Students are guided through structured syllabi to gain recognised qualifications, build advanced skills, and develop a strong foundation in core dance subjects.

Our Competition Team

Train in dynamic routines through our dedicated competition team private lessons, covering Ballet, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Acro, and more. With opportunities for solos, duets, trios and group work, these sessions build creativity, musicality, and confidence on stage.

Limbering, Gymbering & Gymnastics

Develop flexibility, strength, and stamina through our Limbering and Gymnastics classes. Each session focuses on injury prevention and enhancing overall conditioning to support all areas of dance. Helping dancers move stronger, safer, and with greater control.

Lyrical, Jazz & Pointe Class

Enhance your expression and technique with our Lyrical, Jazz, and Pointe classes. These sessions are key to developing musicality and refining ballet technique, building a strong foundation that supports and elevates all styles of dance. Perfect for dancers who want to stand out on stage.

If you are interested in any of these classes and the times work for you, we offer a free trial class so your child can experience the class, meet the teachers and make sure they enjoy it before enrolling at DQ Dance Academy.

The DQ Experience

Class Uniform

To help create a professional and focused learning environment, all dancers are expected to wear the appropriate uniform and have the correct hair style for each class.

Uniform requirements vary depending on the style and day, with full details provided when you enquire or join DQ.

Wearing the correct uniform helps dancers feel prepared, confident and ready to learn, while allowing our teachers to clearly see technique and support each dancer’s progress.
