DQ Summer Social
Our DQ Summer Social was the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon together! We brought our dancers and families together at Cawthorne Park for an afternoon filled with fun, games, laughter and plenty of memories.

This spectacular performance gives our dancers the opportunity to showcase their talent, hard work and dedication on stage, bringing together students of all ages and styles for an unforgettable celebration of dance.

Dancer Wellness: Looking After Your Body & Mind
As part of our Workshop Day on Wednesday 26th August, 1 of our 4 workshops was Dancer Wellness with Miss Amelia, focusing on something that is just as important as dance technique - learning how to look after yourself as a dancer.
The Roots of Jazz Dance
On Thursday 6th August, I delivered a Jazz Workshop to some of our students and wanted to explore the history and roots of jazz dance with our dancers. This was also a great opportunity for me to revisit what I previously studied as part of my A Level Dance Diploma and build on that knowledge through further research into the origins of jazz and the influential people who helped shape the style we know today.

Our DQ Movie Night was a fun-filled evening for our dancers to relax, spend time together and enjoy the movie Tangled as part of the DQ dance family.

Our Miss Dance trip gave our dancers the opportunity to come together, enjoy an exciting day out and experience the world of dance beyond the studio.
